A weak base is a base that does not ionize fully in an aqueous solution. Weak bases may also be defined as a chemical base in which protonation is incomplete. This results in a low PH compared to many other strong bases.
Examples of Weak Bases
- Ammonia NH3
- Trimethyl ammonia N(CH3)3
- Pyridine C5H5N
- Ammonium hydroxide NH4OH
